Mornin, the trip down was boring and Miki drove twice which really helped with sleep. Wayne did you ever go over to Watoma after that tornado went thru? It was along time ago but all the trees were broken off about 15 feet above the ground that's what Kentucky was like every tree was broken, just incredible.

Know what you're say'n. Over the years trucking, I seen the effects of a few ice storms down south and out east...it's crazy. The trees in the south don't handle the weight of the ice as well as trees in the north.

I'm all about Hard Wood.
Carpeting is just not my thing. I mean you get in it and it's messy can't really get the feel quite right. Attracts wild game and just isn't that pretty. Now Hard Wood, you see the true beauty of what's there, doesn't scratch when you are on it, and it's easier to clean up!

I don't thing that was the correct word or words but she waited until I got my glasses and shut the woop woop woop offf. Did I tell everyone that the alarm went off when we were driving back on the 17th of last month? Same fault, so I get to check all the smoke detectors in the house tomorrow.

I had a 1999 Sea Doo twin- she was a runner!!

I still have the Yamaha twin 135s runs just over 60. After the year in Florida, replaced all the gauges, shift cables, impellers, all new stickers and carpet. I rewired the trailer with all new lights, bearing and tires, also had to put new bunks and winch strap. Looks and runs good now and won't be coming down here with it again.

Daughter called and she is official a member of the employed :03: One of her teachers asked her a week or so ago if she was interested in being editor for something for the school and the kid said yes but I need paid :sifone: It wont start til the beginning of the next quarter when the current student doing it graduates BUT in the mean time, the school hooked her up with an outside company and she interviewed and was hired today. 24 hours a week .... Donzi that 's exciting about the dress, did you have to order it. I forgot, what's the date of the big day. I had a lot of fun planning our wedding, since I was an "older bride" living in MI with my Mom in NY I did all the planning myself. The Wedding was a full weekend event with something going on Friday through Sunday so I even had a newsletter made. This summer is our 19th year anniversary, hard to believe.

Well it's official I leave for Park City next Tuesday for my ski vacation with my sister and niece, told Ian about it yesterday and all is well:) My sister is especially happy I can go since it looks like her friend and her friends daughter are not going. The friends daughter who is 12 has taken a stand and said she will NOT go because her friends can not go. The friend is divorced and the daughter lives with her ex, the kid will not come to her house unless she has two or three friends with her for the weekend. The've let the kid get everything she wanted for so long that she rules the roost in both houses. I guess I should be glad the kid can't come, apparently if she does not get what she wants she makes everyone else's life miserable. What a shame the parents have raised this kind of a kid.

Its official. The house is sold. Closing is done. Its over. Im good with it. Last night, not so much but today its ok. I had a conversation with Jonathon (the lead singer from Korn) and he pointed out to me that I was always going to be the last one in my family to own that house. See .. I was kinda having issues with the fact that the land has been in the family since 1851, the house was built in 1882 and Im the one who is selling it. That Im the one to let it go. Jonathon pointed out that the daughter isnt coming back and the boy, if he stays in the area, would be just as happy with his grandparents home.... AND my mom so eloquently pointed out to me, that nobody else cares about it so why do I :rolleyes::( My brother and I are the last in line... my uncles have no kids ... my brother has a step kid but he lives in a different town and doesnt want to come back here. So .... sell it now.... sell it later ... either way I was going to be the one to let it go.

Oh and I asked my sweet son last night if he was mad at me and he said he is ok with both his parents being poor. "We may not buy him everything he wants, be we give him everything he needs" :D

Been there once, most times we're in Key West is with guests and they want to go to the tourist traps. Hogs Breath, Jimmy Buffets, Sloppy Joe's. You and Tony normally stay on the west side of the 7 mile bridge, correct? They have a little restaurant in Marathon called Frank's, really good but small maybe 10 tables, you should try it.

Dawn, congrats on the sale of the house! What a relief. It really is just a house at this point sweetie. It was a "home" when you were there...when you leave, it's just a house.
