Walked the town with both of the Granddaughters. Windy and rainy. I think there was a couple snow flakes. I was trying to ignore that.

Most of the Parents around here take the Kids to group stuff...Firehouse etc.

Looks like Wednesday's Race is going to be Windy....might be the best Photo Ops.

We had no trickertreaters. I think the houses are too far apart to be an efficient little goblin.

Drove up to Detroit (suburbs, nobody actually goes to Detroit) yesterday. Didn't go near any grocery stores. 90 miles into Michigan. 90 miles back. Never saw a cop. Which is good, because traffic was going 95mph, and passing was happening at 105. Crazy Michiganders. The upside is that my car felt good at 105.

They have trunk or treat at the school behind the dealership. Cars and cops lined up giving candy out. A full bag of candy in one swipe. Not like the old days running all over town to get candy.

Boat Parade this afternoon....I miss watching Football at Durty Harry's and walking out to see the Boats...then back inside for the 4th Quarter.

Good morning . Headed up to watch Eliza for a couple of days. Candace has orientation with new job that was delayed a month due to govt. shutdown. FBI background check snafu.

They had an armed guard at the grocery store this morning. I assume because of the threat of SNAP people stealing meat. They never had one before.

Made it to Florida on the senior airbus express. There was a dozen seniors in wheelchairs. Thank goodness they opened the back exit and let us out.
