Got the tank cleaned out today. I know have 4o gallons of lawnmower gas. Gonna have to drag it to the corner tomorrow, $3.0-0 right now. Everything else is DONE. engine hatch is on, all that's left tomorrow is to stick the drive back on and scrub the back seat and do some final cleaning. Fedex'd the title today, should have it back Wednesday. If I do get it back Wednesday, straight to DMV, throw the numbers on and its go time.

She is all buttoned up, cleaned all my greasy fingerprints and powerwashed the bilge, shampooed the carpet, 303'd the vinyl and thru on another coat of polish. Paperwork should be here tomorrow, but I work 12's thurs and fri., but DMV is open 8-12 Saturday. I will be there at 8. In the hoistwell at noon and on the lake by 1 Saturday. And I have a 3 day weekend too...... I ordered a suction cup mount for my Emerson gopro clone so hopefully I will have some video too.

Who lives near philly that can break a couple knee caps? I ups next day aired the paperwork to the guy to get notarized on Monday (I thru $50 bucks in the envelope to cover the notary fee and return next day air. He got the envelope 9:30 Tuesday morning and I do not have paperwork back yet so my weekend is shot.

That sucks. Take your receipt, bill of sale, and every receipt you've amassed since you bought it for parts and service (plus your UPS receipt) and go out anyway. It would be a real azzhole who'd give you any crap with that much stuff. Just take a short cruise (not over 3 hours Gilligan:sifone

paperwork should up today, on an envelope marked 0.46 postage. The azzhole pocketed the 50 bucks I put in the envelope to cover next day air and sent it regular mail. By the time the mail got here dmv was closed. I will be standing at there door Monday at 8 am when they open.

I'd still take it out. You have the bill of sale, the paperworl waiting for the DMV to open, receipts from all the work you've done, etc. Worse case is they make you mail in proof of registration before the ticket payment is due, but in Michigan you can even drive a car for three days with no paltes when you purchase it. And technically, since you just received the paperwork, you just purchased it. You have the receipt in a postmarked envelope for proof of what you've been waiting for..

Its kind of cool, and rainy today. Spending the day fitting it out, life jackets anchor dock lines etc.. Making up a tool kit, waterproof container for paperwork, flares etc. and just going over everything again looking for stuff I missed. A good relaxed double check is much preferred over a frantic, I was rushing and missed something fockup.
