Sounds like he hooked you up. Did you find a blown fuse or anything to indicate the pump was bad or did it just not make enough pressure?

cracked the line after the lift pump, fuel seeped, hooked up noid light, injectors firing, hooked up pressure checker, no pressure. apllied direct power to the pump, arced and pump did not go click whir....

IT LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starts right up and fits on the new trailer sweet!!! will have piks in the morning. I just need to pick up a new multi meter tomorrow and sort out some gremlins, do the riser gaskets and seapump.I noticrd today that Mycos pull much nicer then rusted out bent up eagles too....

Congrats Rob. :hurray: Hard to believe a newer straight trailer pulls better than a bent up rusted one though.... Did you do a complete test with both to make sure you were comparing accurately? Freeway at 80+ etc.???

pulling back from Philly the old trailer got hairy over 65, ran it up around 75 and the new one pulls like a dream

gonna be a busy day, new riser gaskets, impellor, new switches for the tabs and drive trim and finish up the bolsters... getting closer

Riser gaskets done. Time to backflush, put the new impellor on and let it run for a while on the hose.

Now started on the wiring, think I have some bad toggle switches etc...pulled the dash, Avanti's rigging sucks!!!!!

ordered a new tab actuator today. Tomorrow I will swap out trim pumps. Anybody have a favorite oil? I have heard everything from plain old motor oil to atf.

I believe that I run straight 30 weight in my drive trim pumps.
