The American Concept boat? Thats now the Erie Monster raced out of Ohio a few years back. I think it's been moth-balled for the past 2 seasons.

I would check and see if you are actually allowed to run a single F16 canopy in all the orgs before I got to excited about some of those boats.

At this point, and I have no grounds for debate, I believe the SVL guys make the rules and all orgs go along. I cannot see any reason they would not be allowed, unless they fall into the one-off rule. But every boat has to be approved under the current OSS SVL rules, and that is the current standard in my opinion.

without going back and looking, I remember something like all canopies must be a single canopy, side by side seating... I am not sure a class can overide a safety rule.

I would just make sure that those things are okay before somebody picked one up and found out that they are not.

The f16's without lids are neck breakers.

I watched and read all comments. Seems they decided it was because the canopy wasn't latched closed?
