Mod's, I wasn't sure where to put this and feel free to move it if it is more appropriate elsewhere.

I need some FROZEN LAKE ERIE WHITE PERCH shipped to me.
I can't get that sort of thing out here in AZ.
If someone can pick up about 5-7 pound, and cold pack and overnight ship, I would be greatly appreciative.
Let me know the cost for fish and shipping.

Somebody has to come through for me.
Help??
PM me, Please!!

But you can get fresh Alaskan King Salmon, Fresh Alaskan Halibut, Fresh Dungeness Crab, Fresh Sturgeon, etc, etc that I miss so much since moving to Michigan....

Dang Buoy, I can see why you can't get them. They are an invasive species in the great lakes that came in through the canals.

Great Lakes Yellow Perch, on the other hand, you can get delivered from many seafood suppliers....

The white perch eat the eggs of Walleye and other perch.
They aren't very tasty either.

Go with the yellow Tim.

I have a bunch of white bass in the freezer. They look about the same just a little bigger. I have never eaten white perch so I can't comment on the taste difference.

The truth is that there isn't too much taste difference.

If I remember, the yellow are a little milder... a little less "fishy."

From what I was reading, the white perch (invasive) and the white bass have also cross-bred to form a new species.....

Buoy, I've got a bunch of frozen yellow perch from Lake Erie/Niagara River. Too much to me to eat. Let me know if your interested.

Pat

OK, so I meant yellow perch.
I never really cared for walleye as much.
But, Damn I miss a good perch sandwich, or even having some fried perch along with a steak.

I agree with you on that. It seems like walleye is always a little more 'bony' than perch, to me anyhoo. We seem to have a perch fry about once a month or so, and its usually what I get no matter where I go on the lake if its on the menu. Good stuff.

Ihad a burger there... sitting with the owner. good burger too...

Yeah, but did you get the keychains? Ah ha.

The perch sammie was ok. I sat and ate with Chris and he drew pictures of Cig 28 hooks and Apache 28 rockers and a really great/terrible idea was born. :D Yes, my entire project started on a bar napkin. :D

Many of my plans in life have been fully designed, negotiated, and established on bar napkins.
Maybe that says something about my success level (or lack there of).
