Tyson and Jim are two guys who talk the talk and walk it.

Couldn't find what they needed so they engineered and built for themselves, and are now selling to like-minded folks.

If that ain't American ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit, I don't know what is.

YEs the trannies are awsome looking. They were droped @ Larry's shop before Larry ever saw them. what I did find out is they are not lite by any means. If Gino can't break them, then we know they bullet proof. NICE PEICE of WORK..

Put them in a safe until they're going to be installed, with GINO'S luck someone will adopt them.

Looks nice Tyson. Also, being that your trannies are shiftable, there is no need then for the brake on the turbines?

That was the main reason for the test, we knew it would handle the power, but did not know how bad the boat would jump forward when you went from neutral to forward, on the turbine when your in neutral the turbine output speeds up to 4000 rpm, so then when you put it in gear it is like dumping the clutch in your car at 4000 rpm, so we made a couple modifications to the trans to make it engage the clutches a little slower to let them slip a little bit when you first put it in gear.

Just wanted to post an update. Have been running the boat for the past few weeks with the trannies and i must say they are all Tyson and Jim said they would be. We were concerend with the gears going from 1:5 to 1:1 when shifted. Now that we have gotten use to them I can't believe it. The boat accelerate like nothing I have ever seen. The boat had good acceleration with a 40P prop but now it accelerates like it's a 34P. Once we shift, it's a rocket. Just got our new forged props that were designed to be ideal for both gear to get max acceleration along with top end. Can't wait to test the boat with all the right stuff.
Tyson and Jim hit it out of the park!
