It was really bizarre, it was probably 30 minutes til the next race......about twenty poker run boats came out, and about 6 USCG boats responded with lights and sirens. They advised them over the radio " Do not get on plane in front of the spectator area"
Because of the rough seas we headed out after the first race, listening on the VHF the Costguard announce harbor open and we headed out keeping the radio on they must have announced 6 or 8 different closing and opening times for that first break, sounded very confusing.
