I remember that day well......:ack2:


That's Hotrod1's Cary in the vid a couple times. We were on it as the turn boat in Whitelake....What a sucky day. Took forever at about 2 mph to get as far north as Muskegon. Couldn't see the sides of the channel going in. Kept trying to call Marc in the heli on the southern leg, he wouldn't answer. Finally got ahold of the Coast Guard in Grand Haven, they relayed to Marc the northern leg would be a very bad idea. Cancelled the northern run, but we had all the cards, so someone finally drove up and got the cards.

The kilko run we thought was gonna be a go. Muskegon Lake was clear once you got nside the channel. Then about the time they're done testing and ready to go, the fog rolled in from the big lake and they shut it down.....

Missed everything. The wives rode back with the cards. Jeff and I took the boat back later . Still foggy as heck. Got within about two miles of Grand Haven, clear as could be.....

Yea and we landed the Helicopter on the beach for about a half an hour cause we caught the white out

Was an ugly weather day but still everyone had fun
