My father-in-law was in a fishing tournament up here out of South Haven with a start like that for salmon. One of his buddies was tossed out of the boat and almost got run over. He thought they were going over for sure.

They circled around and the guy didn't get killed. But they had to take him to the hospital for exposure.

They've never entered another one. Keep wanting to use one of my boats.....
