Well, my son’s trip didn’t start out to good. Trailer axle broke in NC. So I suggested he just rent a U-Haul and I’ll repair it here. Luckily he got a tow truck driver that was willing to help him out.

Good morning . Bearings are perfect but axle snapped at the mount u bolts. A combination of rust and shitty NC roads are contributing factors.

I got so every time I left town with the PQ I put a floor jack in the back of the excursion. We had a lot of flat tires. We got to be pretty dam quick changing trailer tires.

The one thing I hate about living here is that almost everything I need for repairs has to be ordered and shipped. I’m so used to just going to a shop/business and getting it on the spot. Oh well.
