"Official" NFL Smack Talkin' Thread

I wonder if the Lions will even really try, or save their peeps from injury by using a lot of backups?

They have no chance of making the playoffs after their last debacles....

Here's how the Lions can make the playoffs, with only one scenario to get in:
  • Lions win their final two games to finish 10-7.
  • The Packers lose their final two games to finish 9-7-1. A tie gets the Packers into the playoffs, since they would have two ties, which the NFL splits as a win and a loss for tiebreak purposes. (In that rare case, the Packers own the tiebreaker over the Lions due to sweeping the head-to-head season series.)

Thank God for domed stadiums. They should not allow any playoff games in inclement weather except in domed stadiums.

Nobody wanted to go to Minnesota, Green Bay, or Buffalo in January...It was a great Homefield advantage.

Meanwhile...in the Dome

Me and the Father in Law both said repeatedly through the entire game..."lucky the score isn't worse than it is".
