Miami Vice turned 30 today.
"Miami Vice" hit the airwaves with its pilot episode, "Brother's Keeper," on Sept. 16, 1984, and changed police procedurals forever. Drawing heavily upon 1980s new wave culture and music, it quickly became a trend-setting hit, lasting five seasons before ending on May 21, 1989.
