I was talking to a guy at work who is a community liaison. He was a really good football player from Fremont Ohio who was heavily recruited by both OSU and Michigan and ultimately went on to play for Michigan. (Some years ago)
While he was visiting OSU, they took him around and showed him people and things to impress him. He was a not a golfer. They set him up with a round of golf at Muirfield. With Jack Nicklaus. Yes. He shot like a 140 in front of Jack Nicklaus. He said "Jack will never forget me."
