Englewood's Beach's Waterfest, The final of the APBA National Championship series, was a struggle due to weather issues. With the Hurricane out in the gulf, even though it was a couple hundred miles away, the weather sucked. Testing on Friday was cancelled, boats were hitting bottom heading out the pass to the Gulf.
Saturday was more of the same.
But, Saturday saw the Englewood team get in 6 races to accomplish the Champ Series finals.
