Pretty big boat. Probably towing with a Yugo?????:sifone:
Traffic slowed to a crawl Saturday on Interstate 10 just South of Fair Oaks Parkway when a large boat being towed crashed on the highway.
The driver of the towed boat indicated he was forced to swerve to avoid colliding with another vehicle on the west bound lanes in Northwest Bexar County.
The towing trailer flipped over onto the median, after the driver lost control.
"What normally is a 30 minute trip to Boerne turned into an hour," said Justin Peaks, who inidicated the traffic starting slowing down just north of The Rim shopping center near IH-10 and 1604.
Highway patrol, county law enforcement and other emergency personnel responded to the wreck which caused slower traffic for at least four hours.
Interstate 10, at 879 miles long in Texas, is the longest continuous untolled freeway under a single authority, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
