Well, with all the $ in view for this years running I pinched out anouther $4,200.00 for a nice 2005 38' Magic tilt Aluminum trailer tri axel with 17,500 GVW.

Sorry Phil, just had to retire that old steel bad boy.

Look for the Bertram 38 at the Jacksonville Poker run again this year boasting a differant trailer.

Did you see the other thread with the one for sale? Are you familiar with it?
 
The Barron or the other 38 like mine are you refering to.
Both are old school. The 38' are the true heavy hitters.

The 38 Competition like yours. I was wondering if you knew the history of it and what it needed to be completed....

Total of 15 made, some Kevlar. Mine is #7 made in 1975. I owned her now 8 years. Had lots of good fun on her. 4 major poker runs under my belt, and more to come.
In RE: the other Bertram for sale is bare hull. By the time you are done with rigging like I did your better better off buying one done.
Mine is turn key now and thinking about selling for the rite price. 45K will remove from my hands with new used trailer I just bought.

All in all, I own 1 of a kind, and that makes me special where ever I go.

You can't sell it then, you wouldn't be special anymore.....


We'll have to see if the guy will come down to a reasonable price for what is there, and how much needs to be done. I would hate to see any of these disappear.

Dick Bertram is a toss-up in my mind for Number 1 in the Top 100 of all time for Offshore influence....
