The announcing and operations today are maybe the worst I've ever watched or listened to. Not announcing or showing the speeds hardly ever, giant delays between runs, and a lot of talking with bad info. Wrong kind of boat, wrong racing class if it's a race boat, etc.

Broadcast surely could have been better.
Seemed like minimal focus on the boats running.
Why no speed display?
Isn't that the main focus of the event?
Lots if not most runs, speed was a footnote if mentioned at all.
Commercials and split screen ads were pretty poorly timed too.

That's an understatement. Like when Mike Knoblock was running through in his Fountain, I think hit 153 for the Topgun Vee hull, and all the talking heads did was talk about other crap. Then, when Mike was almost completely through they noticed he was running and came up with that, Oh, I think that Mike Knoblock is on the course now. What a joke they were this event.
