The 22' Vortex features futuristic styling.

Riding on a 22-foot-long pad-bottom hull, the 22′ Vortex jet boat blends futuristic styling with a comfortable interior that, thanks to a 7’10″ beam, seats seven people. Cockpit features include a dual-step transom for access, a tilt steering wheel and Faria gauges at the helm, a 12-volt receptacle, drink holders and courtesy lights.

Molded helm highlights include a tilt steering wheel and Faria gauges.

The bucket seats for the driver and co-pilot adjust fore and aft and swivel 360 degrees. A bench seat and twin jump seats are provided for additional passengers in the cockpit. In the cabin, there’s a two-person V-berth. Hardware includes a boarding ladder, pull-up cleats and anchor lights.

With a 260-hp MerCruiser 5.7L EFI engine and an Alpha One drive, the 22′ Vortex retails for $30,000. Engine options up to a 425-hp MerCruiser 496 Mag HO are offered for the boat. Fuel capacity is 66 gallons.

Yep, I bailed at 1:50 coming out of the flyby with the fake jet sound.

I have to say, I do appreciate the handle. If I had to carry that boat and a cooler back to my truck, it would make it way easier to carry both and just toss the boat in the bed.
