wow what a weekend

man was it a picture perfect weekend here in michigan. we went out to the cottage yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks, since sheri got sick. wow was the weather perfect, for october fantastic! upper 70's with almost no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. there were more boats out the past 2 days then many summer weekends. when the sun set saturday night i could see 15 boats tied on the wall. i saw boats as late as 11p in the channel, oh wait they where hooked up to the coast guard (that could not be good). when i rode my bike downtown this morning there was still 9ish boats on the wall, and the city marina was near full on both ends. i hope every buddy got a chance to enjoy some of this past weekend.

Awesome weekend on this side too. Chilly on the lake though. Needed a jacket while running. Tons of boats out. Had to run upriver and look at the trees turning.

It was a busy weekend out on lil' Murray Lake too.
Everyone squeezing it in.

I got to MIG weld aluminum up for next years dock
A lil' learning experience for me.

I'd say that they were turning Japanese, I really think so, but the Chinese recently purchased the trees from the city. So I just don't know. :cuss:

I know a few who were pissed their boats were out for the season.....
