Sarasota, New Years Day FUN RUN 1-1-11

We do a Fun Run here in Sarasota on New Years Day. We meet at the Sarasota 10th St boat ramp at noon and go to a local place (either Mar Vista or Casey Key Fish House) for lunch and drinks. Depending on the weather we'll go in the Gulf or the Bay. We've had up to 25 boats go before. So come on out and we'll have fun!!!!! No entry, no prizes, just good times! We will have a few photographers on hand to capture all the action. Boats of all shapes and sizes make the run.

I was on the fence about coming over due to the long ride across with the trailer, but decided last night that if the economy doesnt pick up before next year I may not have the $$, or even a boat next year so here we go, I'll be over. The weather is sounding awesome and like a lot of boats are coming and a few great photographers too..... looks like we'll shoot some photos off of the pier and Ringling Bridge around noon, head out big pass, up and around Ann Maria Island and back to Mar Vista. For those that want a shorter route you can run up the bay or sneak in at Coquina Pass. Really looking forward to seeing everyone.

I have run this run before with Tim, and Birdog, ever since then I have been telling Ryan I would bring the Pantera over, looks like this is the year, besides, the left coast is a blast:cheers2:
