With hours to go still, the beach is already packed. People were lined up for miles at 6:30 this morning.

No kidding... I thought I was doing good being there at 8:40.

haha.

Even though I was at the far end, I still had to park two blocks off the main road... no spaces, nowhere. Three chicks next to where I set up told me they got there at 6:30. :USA:

great crowd, great day. pix comin.

LoL...nice. It was crazy. Jay, were you driving past the holiday Inn southbound in a gold Fiero at approximately 8:00? I think I saw you.

Nickboat...I love it. Cheers.

Like this????

Paul, that's a GT (and I'm fairly sure that gold wasn't a factory color on that model). Mine's an SE- no 5-spd, but quick and lots of fun to drive, very good power to weight ratio... mid-engine v-6 still gets over 20mph. All original, well... most of the paint anyway... I bought it 6 years ago for five hunnert bucks from a guy that finally gave up his dream of putting a cheesy lambo kit on it.

With all the partying - how did people get to the beach by 6:30am?

But I suppose if you just fell asleep on the beach the night before, you'd be all set...:26:

Yep it was , a friend had one, I believe his was an 86

Nickboat- that's rich!

Nice pics Jay. What lens are you using?

Nick- what was the boat count?

I'm now Fiero shopping. I hate to be left out on any new, cool trend. And I dig the classics.

I heard the number 47, but there was the usual attrition (Fury) and Razor's Edge managed to run aground saturday in 6" of wawa. I was on Jim Wiley's cc when it happened and they called us for some help... when we got to them they were standing around in water barely above their ankles. You could just about see the entire hull of the boat. Lori's got pix. :reddevil:

Check out ebay, Chris... I know you love projects-
you can pick up 3 or 4 project cars for under 2k total! :26:

Nick, I've been getting decent results from that spot by the inbound turn.

When I'm on the beach I use the 80-400 1:4.5-5.6
