Had one a few weeks ago in my car. Coming back from Daytona.. tried the "shortest" way. Figured it's late night.. no traffic to deal with. Tom Tom told me to go here. to go there.. make a "U" turn.. turn left at the tree... go through the guys back yad with the fence half way open... Bare right at the tree... go over DIRT ROADS.... Watch for horses when crossing.. I saw a guy around 1:00 AM with an AX in his hand and a hokey mask.. steering to the roads.. AND this road had weeds in the middle. Obvioulsy highly traveled road. TOm TOm took me to places no men should ever go.. Not kidding .. Strangest trip I ever made.
After 1 1/2 hours of driving past my normal time frame.. I got home.. Saved me about 2 miles. TOm TOmie is learning how to swim right now in the Golf.

Garmin sent us on a similar trip once in Kentucky on our way to Hilltop Marine. At one point I swear it wanted us to drive down a creek bed!

Just ordered a Garmin Nuvi 780 from www.GPSCentral.ca
Ordered it at 3:30 PM today, at 5:30 PM today I had a FedEx tracking # and it will be in my office tomorrow before noon. They show next day US for a $24 bump.
If it arrives tomorrow I am going to be seriously impressed with their customer service.
