I was digging through some old pictures and found these. You may have seen them before, but here they are again.

I took these photos at my marina in St. Pete. There was a passport marine dealer there for a short while. This was a brand new boat that they had for sale, and someone "borrowed" it for an evening booze cruise.

He was cruising WOT and launched this boat up and over the seawall at the Albert Whitted airport in St. Pete. The boat ended up a couple hundred yards from the seawall sitting right in the middle of the runway. planes had to be diverted to Tampa.

No one was hurt (too seriously) just bumps and bruises.

That fiberglass looks a little light on resin. Didn't realize the Volvo's had fiberglass housings.

The strength comes from the glass, not the resin. I'm pretty sure Formula knows what they're doing...

Only their Ocean Series (OSI / XDP) drives. They actually refer to it as "composite"; pretty much eliminates a lot of corrosion problems, and appear to be pretty robust from the look of those pictures.

Shame such a nice boat got abused so badly. The "Captain" was obviously not the brightest bulb in the chandelier....

Here's a local bad day from LOTO a couple weeks ago.

The last pic is how to "Hillbilly repair" a SeaRay for like new lake travel.:sifone:
