Please say a prayer for Jimmy Goerlitz

Jim was taken off the ventilator on Wednesday morning and breathing on his own. As of last night he was still not able to swallow but he is awake and alert and trying to talk. It may take days or weeks until his condition is known. Jim has been moved out of intensive care but is being monitored closely. There are signs of progress, however it is still too early to tell what his long term condition will be.

We will keep you updated as his condition improves.

Please keep Jim and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Jim was released from Theda Clark Medical Center Saturday. He is resting comfortably at home. He continues to make progress in all areas with exception of speech. He will continue to received three hours of speech therapy daily.

I checked with Ron. He said,
"He is doing better. I heard he even went back to Mercury Racing just for a visit. He's not back to work...from what I know."

I hope Jimmy will be able to make it to Key West.
