C Chris Contributor Jan 13, 2010 #7 It's a tri-maran. They're not nearly as big as they appear. Very lightweight and quick/inexpensive to build. Their intended purpose is for use in near-shore (littoral) waters. Supporting special ops is definitely one of it's capabilities.
