How about using PVC board for project. Only drawback would be you may need to add some stiffeners to the back side. No rot ever, it holds staples and screws. Just a thought.

I've never tried to put a staple into coosa. It certainly tests well in our panel strength tests. Tough stuff, and will never rot.
