The fires on the big island of Abaco are 60% under control after a private group raised money and hired a plane and pilot to dump water on the fire, they started Sunday. So yesterday Nassau our Washington DC said they were going to send fire fighter over to help, that will be great but would have been way better 2 weeks ago

Had a Friend move down to Costa Rica...When He inquired about Fire response...The Locals said that the last Guy in charge left with the Key

to the Shed that held the Firefighting Equipment...He brought some Bolt Cutters, and removed the Padlock...They made Him Fire Chief .
