Mornin! :coffee: 🌴 🌴

That's a sweet rig.....Neither the Ford or Chevy have the Moon/Sun Roof as an option in that Class of Truck.
They should sell Seat Extenders for that Vehicle (more Legroom)

I got a new Toilet Yesterday......No more jiggling the gotdampt Handle........It also has the Bidet....Cold Water only....It's an Eyeopener.😬

Thanks. It has more legroom than I need. 45.2 inches. More than the full-size half ton Ford 150 or GMC Sierra, and way more than the Ram. Headroom is 40.3. It's not a small truck. More comfortable than my 2015 3/4 ton.

So Rat, now that RWO has parted ways with the APBA, what does that mean to us fans other than more of the same when it pertains to offshore boats racing? Seems like this segregation of sanctioning bodies has been going on for decades.

It is currently very complicated. I'm not sure what the final outcome will be.

Here is the short story of the season. RWO had 5 races plus the Worlds, none with purses, two were cancelled.

PRO had 2 races, none with purses, one was cancelled

P1 had 5 races, 3 with purses, one was cancelled, but it wasn't a purse race.

RWO and PRO have joined together to make the new group. I may fill you in with the entire story in a couple days, but we have to figure out where the World Championships will be now so I'm on the phone non-stop. Three different locations want it.

It does seem like every 4 to 7 years something like this happens in only offshore. Just when things start moving forward, get the new TV deal, 4 races with prize purses of $40,000 each, prizes for National Champions in one class of over $100,000, class 1 guys like Myric and Tyler going to Monte Carlo to get their World Championship awards, etc. Then some rich guy comes along and sees a way to be a king making promises, and the lemmings follow, so the momentum goes down the tubes....

That these guys are willing to do that makes me disgusted. That the racers seem to fall for it again and again surprises me. We will see how it shakes out.

Enjoy the holiday
:)

Hope the new organization(s) do well and put on good shows
I hope they burn down and never recover. That they were willing to destroy a 100 year relationship between APBA and UIM for their own profit is disgusting, 1924 to 2025. Unless they are gone, there will not be another Owen Buis, a 16 year old in the Hall of Champions this year with his father Nick. First time ever a father and son have made it in two different boats the same season in Offshore. Or a Myric and Tyler, only the second time two Americans in the same boat have won the UIM Class 1 World Championship in the last 40 years or so. You are talking about less than 10 boats trying to change how everything is by destroying it. Founded in 1903, the APBA sanctions more than 130 events annually, supports over 80 member clubs and promoters, and serves a membership of more than 5,000 individuals.

Really? And they know it destroys opportunities and dreams for World Championships and International sponsors and did it anyway. Now some boats are battling to keep their sponsors because of this sickening move. And I have to try to convince their sponsors not to walk away, great. And they did this 2 weeks before the first race! On purpose!

And what is their excuse? 3 letters at the beginning of a name, Pro Class 1 versus Class 1, that's it.

Mornin! :coffee: 🌴 🌴

Port Authority shut down People staying in Their RVS in the Pits at Cocoa......The Rule has been on the Books , but was never enforced...

This Year it is...I think that will deter a lot of the smaller Teams from attending.

Anyway...It looks to be a beautiful Day out there....Take a step back and enjoy it...

I understand, there will be.

The big question is how will the racers split up. One of the biggest concerns I hear is that they are concerned if they stay with their original set of races, the new group will penalize them like SBI used to do with anybody who raced in an OSS or OPA event.

I tell them if that is your concern, why would you even consider giving them your support as a team?
