Thanks. There was a big group of us that became friends because they all worked at a local TV station, and I did a telethon there with my mom's charity. Then I followed in her footsteps and brought the telethon back to that station. We were so close we all flew to St. Louis in 93 (during the flood! In July!) to attend a wedding for one of the cameramen. Several of those people went on to run stations. One of them is our local CBS general manager. (And the main sponsor of my golf outing!) Jose was the news director. We were all in our 20s when we met. Two of them are my best golf buddies. Jose moved around a lot. I guess he was GM of like three or four Telemundo markets in Florida. He was a nice guy. Big heart.
