Here's how the last four brackets busted on Sunday:
  • Game No. 41: No. 2 Purdue def. No. 7 Miami (Fla.) — 4 left
  • Game No. 42: No. 2 Iowa State def. No. 7 Kentucky — 3 left
  • Game No. 43 — No. 5 St. John's def. No. 4 Kansas — 1 left
  • Game No. 44 — No. 6 Tennessee def. No. 3 Virginia — 0 left
 
A friend, who happens to be a woman, is gonna beat me on my bracket, damn.

However, in my defense, she was the athletic director for girls sports at a college, and also the college rep to the NCAA for that college.

Still embarrassing though.... ☹️
 
I picked Arizona to win it all in the beginning, but damn Michigan looks good. That game should be the National Championship game.
 
I hate Duke, the favoritism they seem to get is crazy. They got the number 1 overall seed, which gives them the easiest route to the championship game. So, I went back to see why they got the number one overall seed, obviously they should not have.

During the season and their conference champonship tournament Duke played 34ngames. They were 32 and 2. Of their 34 games, 11 were against Top 25 teams and they lost 2 of those. So they were 9 and 2 against Top 25 teams. Of their 32 wins, 17 of those were against teams who were not even in the Top 50.

During the season and their conference championship tournament Arizona played 34 games. They were 32 and 2. Of their 34 games, 18 were against Top 25 teams and they lost 2 of those. So they were 16 and 2 against Top 25 teams. Of their 32 wins, 15 of them were against teams not even in the Top 50.

So, of those two teams, who deserved to be a higher seed?

I haven't checked Michigan's overall record yet.

My gripe is that the two best teams in the nation, Michigan and Arizona, will not be playing in the championship game because of Duke favoritism. That sucks once again.

On another note, finally a coach who, even though they win, tells the truth. It was a ridiculously refereed game. As many of the NCAA tournament games have been, both Men and Women........

This is pretty ridiculous. Over a thousand college BBall player want to play for somebody else who will pay them more money. I'm sure Michigan will buy another good team like this year. College ball is now professional, period.

The men's basketball national champion was just decided, but attention has already turned toward roster building for the 2026-27 season.
ESPN's Jeff Borzello reported that more than 1,000 Division -I players entered the transfer portal.
