NJPPC A/C Poker Run: Best One Yet!

It was great to see Dee!

The water was like Dr Jekel and Mr. Hyde!

The bay was like a piece of glass, turned out the inlet at Holgate and ran through a series of 10' swells followed by a legit 20' "Perfect Storm" cresting swell. I counted to 5 before we landed. No B.S.

40' Skater coming out the Holgate inlet!

Matt Trulio was funny when we came out of Great Egg "HellGate" we started to hit 5ft waves then 8ft and all of a sudden a 10ft wave followed by a 20 that was cresting " His first reply is what the F*** is that? What are we on the deadliest Catch :) I told everyone brace and hold I throttled the boat to get over " What a Ride" That picture my wife took of Ray in the cat was just coming over that wave and there were 30 more boats behind that wave you couldn't see. What a great run.

I actually thought I blew a drive going up one of those waves but it was just my props slipping. It was a lot of fun running in that I guess everyone knows that NJPPC is not afraid of some big water. We run in anything

It was a great event. I would like to thank Dave and the whole crew for a woderful event as usual. I would also like to congradulate Mike Fiore and Joe Sgro for tearing up the big stuff in the 48 Outerlimits Cat. Not to be outdone by Frank in the Liquidator as Well as Pete Mazzo with a little help from Bob Teague.

These pictures were taken by my friend Melissa.

Great event and I hope I lived up to my promise of bringing good weather.

Thanks for bringing the great weather!
Aside from yourself we also had a lot of all star out of towners!

Matt Trulio - Powerboat Magazine
Bob Teague
Gene Weeks and the whole Statement crew
Mike Fiore and Outerlimits Crew
Terry Sobo and Nor-Tech Crew
Tim Sharkey in the air taking pics.

And I would also like to thank the Paramedics from MONOC (including a diver in the air) and the NJ State Police who are always there with us.

some more

Tom I actually have the big pixels of the pics, My wife took 548 Pictures!
The only picture she wishes she took was that monster 20ft Wave that was coming but watching it crest, she used her head and braced for one of the biggest air shots that Pete started to get of me climbing, I wish he had me launching that was counting BIG air time.

And it all got kicked off by a party at Typhoon Service Center provided by these sponsors:
