Need Florida Insurance Help!!

Despite no claims, no issues, I was just quoted 4k plus per year in a hurricane proof building. WTF?? Boat is a 38 fountain sport cruiser with 800's. Prior to florida I was under a grand a year. Do I need to send the boat north or is there someone that is realistic in florida?
