Kilo runs, Any planned for this year?

I haven't heard of any Kilo runs is a couple of years. Are any of the organizations having one this year?

Desert Storm will be having a shoot-out for the 2010 DS Run. Poker run is from April 22nd to the 25th. Shoot out will be on Saturday the 24th and the event will most likely be sanctioned by APBA.

Gino you can set up a sanctioned event just get in touch with an Org and schedule it around a race weekend.... no big deal!!!!! Call Smitty, JC, or OSS....hell call APBA Detroit.....

Kilo's are events for race boats. Shoot outs are for everyone.

In years past only boats that have competed and have a podium finish in the past 12 months were eligible for time trials. Plus at least one of the riding crew must still be in the boat. I hope that is still the case.

As someone who is not fond of the effects "big money" usually have on Offshore. Much of this family's money has been spent wining, dining and assisting the cause for as long as they have been involved. That does not allow him to rewrite the rules.
If he does not qualify perhaps his results carry a special event designation. It would be a shame if we don't let what is arguably the most technologically advanced and radical
Hot Boat ever built take a stab at being one of the fastest things man ever put on water. Just a thought.
