I hear ya, always seems to go like that! But hey, that's why makes us enjoy it so much!! If we had it every day we might take it for granted!:driving:

I was out shrink wrapping yesterday in the beautiful weather we had!!

Thought you could almost go year round at LOTO?
I've boated every month of the year at LOTO in 70 + degree weather. It can be very hit and miss, though. Helps to have a boat with outboards or closed cooling to make the re-winterization a quick and painless process. Even with a raw water cooled boat with twins we got it down to about a 30 minute process of draining both motors and getting the water out of the bilge after a mid-winter run.

It only seems further south. They get Midwestern weather.
Yes. On average the temps are about 6 - 7 degrees warmer during the winter months at LOTO than they are here in Central, IL. There are times though when it is in the 30's here and 60's at LOTO. A lot of times those clippers will drop down just to the East of mid-Missouri. It is amazing how many times we have crossed I-70 and the temps start climbing.

Man, I hate that feeling! I hate going for that last ride in December, knowing it may be a full week - and a new year - until I can go out again! :D

:seeya:

Doing Ryans New Years run is on my short list.

Here in Austin we only miss about a month because of cold. Many fish year round

We're still runnin - and will be until it's 30 degrees out (won't happen here that much!!)

Got my cruiser out again - still tinkerin with the diesels.

Even mom wanted to go!

I was out yesterday and shredded an alternator belt at 5800rpm, fortunately it didn't take the other belts off. Thought about putting it up for the year. But decided I'd get it ready just in case. :sifone:

This has been one of my best boating years in a long time. Not ready for it to stop.
