I agree with you Bobcat. Why else would he stop making videos and sending them out. Now we just hear a audio of him that is just general bs from time to time.
Obama would not capture or kill Bin Laden. He would invite him to the white house for a beer summit, give him a billion dollar bailout and then the two of them would take turns pizzing on the constitution.

It would prove to everyone that they were right to begin with- that by relentlessly pursuing this person militarily, we would ultimately find and stop him. They forced Obama to do something he would have never done himself and they're proven correct.
In reality, it would have zero effect. The great majority of people that voted for Obama weren't idealists. They were people wanting one of his campaign-promise handouts. And unless Bin Laden's death includes some sort of government check in their mailbox, their attitude is certainly going to be one of ambivalence.
On the other hand, if Obama single handedly finds Bin Laden and kills him with his bare hands on live network TV, then comes home and discovers a cure for cancer, unlocks the mystery of cold fusion and proves definitively the existence of God, about half the country is still going to vote for Sarah Palin.
I think that Bin Laden would really look up to Obama. Bin Laden only managed to hijack four airplanes in his attempts to control and damage our economy and free market system.
