Lake Travis chosen to host AquaPalooza

AquaPalooza is self-touted as "The World's Largest Boat Party." Organizers said they broke their own record, with a grand total of 15,600 boats and 84,000 people last year.

The event was created as a series of on-water celebrations held during the last two weekends in July. It was created by Sea Bass Boats as a free event open to boaters and non-boaters alike.

The event will be held on Lake Travis on July 31.

Aquapalooza has been one of the biggest clusterfvcks at LOTO the last two years. Were forced to change venues due to the traffic and dock damage from boat wakes. Last year boats banging into to each other trying to anchor and raft up in the wind and in deep water. No thanks, I'll stay home and listen to my own tunes that day. Hope yours is more fun.

+1! I won't go to one of those events! Just too many people to be around & too great of a chance of something happening.
