AG Nominee- "Waterboarding is Torture"

so you are saying that we as Americans should become terrorists ourselves and commit genicide on the arab world??
Ask nick Berg or the Berg Family and see what is considered torture. a little water or having your head cut off and hacked at and then held up and put on youtube?

These savages can cut the head off of a reporter on live TV and it is OK but we are not allowed to throw water in their face?

You can not win a war unless you are willing to do what your enemy is not......

They bring a knife, you bring a gun. They send one of yours to the hospital, you send one of theirs to the morgue.....

Hi folks, just lurking about here and I saw this thread. Remember, we only waterboarded 3 people, total. One was that Kalid Sheik Mohammad guy that planned the Trade Center bombing. I think we were pretty mild with him. Torture, what a joke.

What astonishes me is that our population seems to predominantly condemn waterboarding, yet we're more than willing to support executing convicted felons- even though we've found that we kill the wrong guy from time to time. And those felons are virtually 100% Americans.

Is it just me or is there something out of whack with that?

I apologize for posting aboit the basic human rights this country was founded upon. if those rights seem apalling to you and you find that you must torture and treat others inhumanely in your search for justice, please accept my apologize as you prepare to move to russia or communist china.

How's this one?

"Arizona Sen. John McCain on Thursday leapt at the opportunity to criticize GOP presidential frontrunner Rudy Giuliani over the torture issue, after the former New York mayor said he might allow some uses of waterboarding and said he was unsure of the interrogation technique's definition.

"All I can say is that it was used in the Spanish Inquisition, it was used in Pol Pot's genocide in Cambodia, and there are reports that it is being used against Buddhist monks today,” McCain told The New York Times in an interview.

McCain, who is vying for the GOP nomination, said his fellow presidential candidates: "They should know what it (waterboarding) is. It is not a complicated procedure. It is torture.”"
