1991 32' Aronow Cig

Saw this on Propertyroom.com. I am not too familiar with Cigs and their history. Anyone fill in the blanks?

It's not a cig. It is an Aronow. A friend of my dads used to have one and it seemed to be a nice boat, but I never really Looked it over real well. I was pretty young at the time.

Well, its NOT a cig. It was built by Aronow power boats. They made a 24 cat,the infamous 39 cat, that boat which I think was a 34 and a 39V ( the Gucci boat ) and a 47V?. The cats disappeared and the other molds ended up at Magic Power boats I believe after a stint at Super Hero / Super Hawaii and then Intrepid.

Don Aronow, founder of Cigarette, licenced his name to a boat manufacturer. These are what they produced. I can't remeber off the top of my head, but they were another brand prior to that arrangement. The decks were restyled.

The 39 cat was made by USA Racing and those were built by Don.

Super Hawaii- that's where the molds came from.

Thanks, I was curious. You don't see the name Aronow very often and wondered where this boat came from. Not too bad looking. Wondered if it was worth anything? Not that I am interested.
