I need a girl friend

For Spirit, my dog. He is a white German Shephard, 6 year old and he needs some.
But seriously, there are very few white shephards around Fla.
Spirit is a pure bread AKC registered and we want some pups.
Anyone knows a female White Shephard, I am willing to do some travel. No stud fees just 1 may be 2 pups from the liter.

Many of AKC are breeders up North. He came from PA.
Not much in FLA.
These darn pups go for $800 - several K's. For some reason Fla. very few.

had a white female for 13 years and she died last Thanksgiving. never bred her. I found my breeder in Upstate NY at a small family kennell. I am weighing getting two more a black and a white. She was 120lbs and stunning.

He hates the rain, loves the water. He just jumps in. He thinks he is a lab of some sort.

Good luck finding a mate! I got my Bullitt from a breeder in Kansas. He had umbilical cord issues at birth so the breeder didn't want him bred. Was never my intention anyways. Funny, he hates the rain and hose but jumps off a swim platform like a little kid.

Spirit is OK with the hose as long as it's not on the spray mode. I use the hose wtih out a nozzle to wash him outside. Large volume of water no spray, "like rain". With the spray on, he runs like hell.

She was 115 lbs at the vet on Saturday, and the next time she costs me 100 bucks I am thinking about just having her put to sleep. I mean Christ why the hell does a domestic dog need a rabies shot?? And what the hell is Distemper??

Does your's have any hip problems? How old is he?

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT.
$100 is nothing compared to the friendship and loyalty dogs provide.
Spirt is about 6+years old.
I lost his cousing (Zeus) at 3-4 month old to Parvo. A stupid dog desease, that kills the intestines and stomack. Spirit is from the same "father" thus the name Spirt.
He has no hip problems but only about 80 lb.

Of course I'm joking.

Our's has some hip problems, and we try our best to keep her a little "skinny" on purpose to make it more comfortable for her - vet's orders. On saturday though they gave us a steroid sample, and it appears to have really made things more comfortable for her. It was called Dexran I believe - just thought I'd mention it in case you ever begin to experience problems.

She LOVES green Beans, and we feed her that on top of dry food instead of any wet food.

Lyna is only 3.5 so it sucks that she has already been having hip problems.


The German Sheppards are amazing. She has gotten to where she just about understands english - it's unbelievable.

Our GSD has displasia in one of her hips as well. She is only 65lbs so that helps. We looked into getting her surgery but one of the vets recommended a prescription food, Science Diet J/D, and daily Cosequin pills. It has made a world of difference with her.

The only time she seems to have a hard time now is when the weather changes dramatically.

Our girl is 10 and except for her hip, she still acts like a puppy....
