Funny. And some of the picks deserve to be in the top 10. But there are some glaring omissions.
First off, any top-10 list that doesn't include John Garand's M1 rifle is fatally flawed. George Patton referred to it as the "greatest battle implement ever devised". And he'd know. And while you can get an Enfield or Nagant at a hardware store today for a hundred bucks, the Garand- which was produed in quantities greater than those two combined- fetches about a thou. You know why.
And while the Barrett is an interesting weapon, it really doesn't deserve to be on the list, let alone at the top. It's had negligible inpact in armed combat. And it's like putting Ali's daughter on the list of all-time a$$-kickers. Just put the Barrett's progenitor- the Browning M2 on there and be done with it.
And the Glock? Puhleeeze. I've got two words for you- The first one is Heckler. The second is Koch.
