Ft Lauderdale boat show, a little sneak peak!

i will try to get some more pics this weekend, i was going to go today for press day, but the hook up fell through. they have been crazy strict on security, i dont think even working on a boat will get me in for free anymore. It was pretty cool being able to walk around when it was pretty much empty.

Cummins says its about 800 lbs heavier than the 600 package. Not bad for the size of those engines.

70 is the goal @ 25K lbs.

is the 600's a turned up version of the 485 package or entirely different motor.
If so how much heavier is the 600 vs the 485. Thanks Jeff

The weight of the 600's looks like 1,975 lbs ea. The 480's look to be 1350 lbs. Looks like the 600's are the 8.3L engines instead of the 5.9L for the 480's so not a turn up.

The 715's are an 11L motor which 2,620 lbs each.

The boat at the show ran 70 on the bump box so there should be a bit more speed in it.
