Right now there are Gale Force winds out of the SW changing to W overnight at 40 Knots. That wind is pushing a lot of water down to the east end of the lake. If you talk to someone in Buffao, NY I bet they would tell you it's piling up down there. It will come back ! :)

Yep, it's that time of year in western Erie.
Happens every year going into October.

ohh ya! just spoke to a friend there and she said the water is over the breakwall outside of erie basin!

Niagara River - I checked the water level at the boat launch across the street from our plant after work was about 4'+ above normal. It was higher in the afternoon just by the cr*p washed up in the ramp area. Sorry - didn't have the camera with camera with me. The lake must have been rocking up by the city break walls.

My friend posted this pic on facebook. This is at the Buffalo Yacht Club on Pt. Abino in Crystal Beach. We usually step down a foot or two to get onto the sailboat. The water is up a solid 5+ feet in this pic taken this morning!

Call the tire manufacturer and let them use the pics and story for advertising. (Charge them).
I can't believe they are still holding air.
