Inflation has hit everywhere but boat racing

Ever wonder why boat racing is at best a second level motorsport and, at worst, an amatuerish parade? Look at the numbers.

In 37 years we have gone absolutely no where with prize money.......

In fact I received appearance money, paid by the mile to race tunnel boats in Canada in the mid 70's. Now you haul a million dollar cat around with a cast of thousands on your own nickle........

Read it and weep.

Maybe Obama and Geithner can help......

Need to standardize main classes and associations to get a decent major contract with any network, etc.

It was not that long ago when factory classes were starting to get a major following, what happened?

Tough to consolidate a bunch of A Personalities. But we're the only ones willing to puke the nut to have fun in this great sport.
