With all of the negative events happening in our industry, I think we ALL owe Stu and Jackie a HUGE Thank You for not short cutting their events. This past weekend was possibly the best Poker Run/Display that Pier 57 has been involved with in my time here. The turnout was great, the weather was perfect, the venue is definitely my favorite and the hospitality was unparalleled.

Very few orginizations could put together an event like this in times like these. 75 or so boats...a GREAT group of people.....new members on their first FPC run....old members getting together for the first time this season and some SERIOUS hardware. I'm not sure how anyone could top what they put together this past weekend.

So....from the Pier57 group & Marine Technology, we are honored to offer our SUPPORT and sincere Thanks to all of the FPC crew!!!!:patriot:

We just so happened to be in Miami last Thur (and let me add I have never been so lost in my life). I wished we had known about the run. We were less than a 2 hour drive from it.

Sounds like a great time.

and Nortech delivered/sold several new boats........the industry can't be in that bad of shape. MTI had some great hardware on the run and Randy was a cool guy to talk to about the new 36 on display.

Jackie and Stu did another first class poker run..........Thanks

I have to say thank you as well. We didnt get to make the run due to some cold NY obligations

But between the party and the run Stu and Jackie really have kept a positive outlook for everyone in the industry. Thank you from Mahopac Marine and Sunsation.

You guys are the best!!!

Once again I read the rave reviews of the Miami Run.

One of these years I need to get down there and do it! It was nice to meet up with Stu at the party last year at the Miami Boat Show. I introduced myself at the end of the night and was caught by surprise he actually knew who I was ...:sifone: It was very nice of him to offer me to come and shoot the event when I have a chance. I hope one day I can take him up on it.
It is always nice to be invited.

It is my understanding the Florida Poker Run Club had two choppers in the air shooting stills and video. That certainly does not come cheap. I am sure the club relies on the sales of their photos and videos to help cover the expenses to put on such a huge event. I hope the members and participants can find something they like and support the ones that are responsible for putting the event on... http://www.flpowerboat.com/

Once again, great job FPC !!!
