05-24-2010 10:40 PMMy hat off to each and ever team you guys are all winners, you put on a hell of a show. Keep doing what you are doing and more teams will follow.
Doc and Matt the new boat looked great and you guys did a hell of a job your first race out. Look forward to some really great battles this yr. Every boat in the class has a shot to win any given race... How cool is that.
Its important you work with all the builders out there, the more new boats and teams the more exciting your class will be.

We had an absolute blast, our first race was better than we ever imagined it would be, it was great to finally meet all the great folks in the svl class, as well as the other classes. we got nothing but encouragement and help from everyone in our class, i have been drag racing for years and have never seen such harmony between all the teams involved in a class, it was great to see all the teams scrambling to get parts for someone that they are getting ready to race. i cant say enough about what a great class the svl group is and how much fun it is to be racing finally. shelley had a lot of fun, with the exception of one hard landing in the ocean turn i didnt get yelled at much at all!!!! lol great experience, for anyone who wants to race this is the way to go!

I will give Sean a big thanks for giving us a lane on the first start.
He is not so bad in person.
I think the big guy in a little boat, had a bit of fun
Also thanks for the beer. I don't know how we ran out!

Congrats to ALL OF YOU... for running such great races, in Biloxi!
I really think that this year is going to be very special, for the SVL Class. I believe that with such competatively matched boats and such skilled, talented teams at any given race site, it can be any teams race to win.
What a year this is going to be!!!!!

I heard Martin saying something that the Dells will be outlawed, but HPs will be legal.

Sounds like the class is taking off....I bet if there were more SVL's out there they would be racing also....
It will be interesting to see if some munufactures will jump in since the class is one of the biggest class's in racing...
