Trailer sat all week. Put it back up on blocks last night. Sanded and cleaned all day today. Will be spraying tomorrow. I would have never guessed it would take as long as it did to prep. Will share more pix tomorrow late.

Thanks guys. My buddy Robert has been working his but off. Today we did the near final preps, sprayed primer on the entire trailer and double coated all inside and lower surfaces. The plan is to tape off the inside, detail a few spots on fenders and outside rails and spray in a couple days.
These pix are just before priming. My battery went dead and could not take any after paint. Will follow up with more later.

Jim, what is this about taping off the inside? I know it is to get a good finish on both sides but did you just sand the tape line out? Seems like a lot of work. I was just going to spray in the inside first and then the outside.

Yes, we spent a ridiculous amount of time refinishing it. The U channel frame was taped on the inside horizontal surface tape facing down on the bottom and up on the top. You cannot recognize where the edge was.
Now the fun part for me. Rigging...mounting lights, wiring and brake lines.Last edited by MOBILEMERCMAN; 12-14-2009 at 11:50 PM.

Ouch. Nothing is fool proof. I have been lucky so far. I hope it works out to be worth it.
