Ya know it's funny there's so few songs on here that I'm like "no f*ckin' way" on... Most are really solid bets.

    Different thought pattern tonight...

I'm going to toss in votes for:

Sailing the Devil Seas, by the Allman Bros.,
I love living in the city by Fear and
    Love Light by the Dead.

How did the Dead not get mentioned even once, by the way? Freakin' hippies don't generally own offshore boats, I suppose...

My girlfriends parents are hippies big-time, and boating requires too much money and they (both) are always broke.........
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

In to boating, and broke, seems to be a bit redundant.

Low Ride-ER drives a little slower, Low Ride-ER gets a little higher now.........

That song takes me back to a bright shiny time in my life...(my sis was 12 yrs older than me)

Hey in the 60's I think my favorite would have been Happy Birthday ... or a Christmas jingle ... possibly even the Sesame Street theme

I haven't chimed in on this thread yet, because this is a pretty heavy question.
I mean, "the best song ever"....
WOW, that is a tall order.
I'll put up "Heaven and Hell" Black Sabbath - love how it starts out slow, and slowly changes tempo through the song - genius.
Rush has to be in here someplace.
And, I made a special run out tonight to pick up a copy of Kid Rock's Devil without a cause because my old on got destroyed. Don't ask.

One album only would be Who's Next.

such a killer album. its weird cus you can sit and drink whiskey to it, or you can put the top down and drive on the highway listening to it.

Hand of Doom get's my Black Sabbath vote! Look how young Ozzy looks in this vid, I don't think Ozzie got the credit he deserved for being a great singer.

Here's my favorite Cocker song, and yes, I've seen Leon Russell play it.

These are everyone's best songs. I'd like to see what else everyone is currently listening to. What's on your ipods? I didn't want to hijack so I started a new thread.
