Ya Baby.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Gotta love the powder
This spot gets drifted in amazingly. The road has 5 foot banks and behind it, it can get 6 or 7 feet deep which makes for nice landings.

No comparison really. You unleash a well studded 800 on an ice road or hard pack trail and it will try to rip itself out from under you.
Arms stretch, muscles tighten, butterflies fill your belly and a couple of seconds later you are running over 100mph
Railing thru a tight trail at night at ludicrous speeds is a thrill that can't be matched. I have driven pretty much everything with a motor in it and it just doesn't compare. Real sledders will tell you, you become ONE with the sled and just think it thru the trail. Its an awsome feeling.
Deep powder riding probably feels about the closest to a PWC and even that isn't really close.
As for cold, never feel cold. Gortex shells and high tech underwear keeps you as warm as you would ever want to be.

Also, pretty much all new sleds come with heated handlebars and throttles. Some even have heated seats. But like others said, when you are working a sled through the trails, you can sweat even in 20 degree temps.

With the right gear it is not an issue. Most of the sleds these days come with handlebar and thumbs warmers which is really the only place that I get cold. Most people will wear a full face sheild helmet, but I use a moto x style helmet and goggles...just like the feel a little better. It does let some air in on the sides, but nothing that I couldn't handle and I've been in negative degree weather carving the trails at 30-40 mph.

co-worker has 2 2008 mxz 600s he is looking to move. 640 miles on each. Renegades. enclosed trailer. He asked me to write an ad for $7600 for each sled, $1200 for trailer. Just in case anyone needs these. I know how he cares for his stuff and how close to new they are.

It worth the drive! We make it out there in about 24 hours straight through. You will never sled in your home state again! I got chills watchin that vid, I couldn't make it last year cause of everyones finacial issues, but this years we are at least making two trips. Out there riding in the pow pow is a feeling your can't even describe, no trail riding, not to many people, just machine, man and pow pow
