Do they let you have your cell phone? We could all call and you could hand your phone to the closest nurse or Dr. We'd get you out of there......

Well, I made it out of priso...err, the hospital. Already took a shower to wash off that "hospital funk"
That could make a Zappa tune, ya think?

On a side note, I saw two good movies.
TV was basic cable with 50 channels, only 25-30 clear enough to watch.
With my choices being reruns of 90's sitcoms (70's show, king of queens, Seinfeld, bundy's...)
Or, afc channel, I chose movies.
I have to admit, the premise of super- hero movies is pretty stupid. But, I have to admit, Capt. America was pretty good.
    Second, Hitman.
What a wild action packed plot twister.
Never heard of it before, but now I'm dvr'ing. Wild movie!

And, by coincidence, on my way home I stopped for an in-n-out cheeseburger.
    Yea, I really did.

No. That's when they stop getting paid unless they can come up with a diagnosis code that supports continued inpatient care. A for profit hospital in Arizona gets around $3,000 a day.

Abominationcare will make it worse. The IRS will beat the OIG to the door.

Speaking of which, a colonoscopy costs three to ten times as much in this country as in many other "first world" countries.

Before Obamacare, a patient with insurance would have been covered under preventative screenings, with a minimal deductible. Under Obamacare, they are only free if you are already suspected of having colorectal cancer. A normal, healthy insured person would be out of pocket $2,500-$3,500 with today's Obamacare era insanely high deductible.
Uninsured or underinsured can get them in about 25 states through a CDC program.
If you don't live in one of those states, and you can't come out of pocket for $2,500.... (and pay half up front in many cases) you are PHUCKED.

    Thanks Obama!

I was just watching 60 minutes on the Virginia Healthwagon episode. Really makes me pissed off that the area they work in has had the huge layoffs because of Obama's war against coal then they have to basically beg for government grants to help people who only want jobs, not handouts because they are proud Americans, (not like the O's).

A guy in New York without insurance was SUED for $8,675 for the anesthesia he received during cardiac surgery.

The same provider settled $6,970 from United Healthcare, $5,208.01 from Blue Cross and Blue Shield, $1,605.29 from Medicare and $797.50 from Medicaid. A judge ruled that Mr. Chin should pay $4,252.11.
